A teen-ager who stole a San Francisco city bus for a joy ride won a $150,000 jury award on his claim that his civil rights were violated when a pursuing policeman shot him. The U.S. District Court jury awarded the sum to Davin Fuller, 17, in a civil rights suit filed against Officer Steven Glickman. City attorneys argued in the trial that the officer wounded the youth in the stomach when he thought the boy, then 14, was about to fire a gun at him. Glickman’s attorney said the city would probably appeal.
