Loyola Nine Takes On Powerful Arizona State on Road
The Loyola Marymount baseball team, which opened with a 14-3 victory over Cal State Los Angeles, will play a three-game series in Tempe with Arizona State starting at 2:30 p.m. today. The teams will play at 2:30 p.m. Friday and 1 p.m. Saturday. Loyola, rated 15th in Baseball America, got three hits and five runs batted in, including an inside-the-park grand slam--from second baseman Bobby De Jardin in the opening game. The Sun Devils, ranked ninth, are 7-0.
