Dixon Twins Lift Northridge to 75-70 Win
Twins Marianne and Kathleen Dixon led the Cal State Northridge women’s basketball team to a 75-70 victory over Chapman in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. game at Northridge on Thursday night.
Marianne Dixon scored a season-high 25 points and Kathleen added 17 points and a game-high 9 rebounds for Northridge (9-10, 3-2 in conference play). Freshman Julie Arlotto added 11 points for CSUN.
The Lady Matadors, who trailed most of the second half, made several key free throws down the stretch to win their second game in a row.
Karen Polk scored 22 points for Chapman (11-7, 2-3).
