Atty. Anthony F. Dragonette Dies of Heart Attack
Anthony F. Dragonette, a prominent Orange County personal injury lawyer, died Tuesday evening at his home after a heart attack, a family spokeswoman said.
Dragonette, 46, a 20-year resident of Yorba Linda, was past president of the Orange County Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and was active in several other lawyers’ organizations.
He sat as a judge pro tem in Orange County Superior Court and served on that court’s panel of judicial arbitrators.
Dragonette received a bachelor of arts degree from UC Santa Barbara in 1963 and graduated from UC Berkeley’s Boalt Hall School of Law in 1966.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; sons John and Steve, and his mother, Dorothy Dragonette of Riverside.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m Saturday at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Tustin. The family has requested donations to the Anthony F. Dragonette Memorial Fund for legal scholarships, in care of the law firm of DiCaro & D’Antony in Santa Ana.
