Omaha Paper Gives Its Endorsement to Dole

OMAHA — The Omaha World-Herald, citing the need for a spirited presidential primary campaign, Friday endorsed Senate Minority Leader Bob Dole over Vice President George Bush in Monday night’s Iowa caucuses.
The newspaper circulates in western Iowa as well as Nebraska.
