Dan Brinker to Lead State Home Warranty Group
Dan Brinker of American Home Shield in Santa Rosa, has been elected 1988 president of the Home Warranty Assn. of California, a trade association that also includes Assured Homeowners Group, Electronic Realty Associates, First American Home Buyers Protection and Hisco Home Protection Plan.
The new vice president is Herb Harkey of Assured Homeowners Group, Garden Grove, while the secretary is Wayne Mauzey of Hisco Home Protection Plan, Dublin. The treasurer is Marty Wool of First American Home Buyers Protection, Woodland Hills.
Members of the group, founded in 1985, abide by a strict code of ethics, according to Brinker. The home warranty industry is regulated by the California Department of Insurance, he added.
