Pitcher Mike Moore lost his salary arbitration case with the Seattle Mariners, the club said.
Mariner officials said an arbitrator in Los Angeles agreed with the team’s offer of $481,000. Moore, who had a 9-19 record in 1987, asked for $565,000.
