Northridge Seeks to Tie Riverside for 3rd in CCAA
Cal State Northridge will try to avenge its most lopsided loss of the California Collegiate Athletic Assn. basketball season at 8 tonight against UC Riverside at the CSUN gym.
Three weeks ago, Riverside made 11 of its last 13 shots to turn a close game into a 17-point victory.
Four players average in double figures for the Highlanders (17-5 overall, 6-3 in the CCAA), led by junior guard Maurice Pullum at 14.6 points a game.
Northridge (13-8, 5-4) needs a win to tie Riverside for third place in the CCAA. Four teams make the conference’s postseason tournament.
