Kaiser Expands Medical Center
A February, 1990, completion is scheduled for the $87-million expansion and renovation of the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, 4747 Zion Ave., San Diego.
Jain Malkin Inc., San Diego, is the interior planner, and Neptune & Thomas, Pasadena and San Diego, the architect. The contractor is Nielsen Construction, San Diego.
When the expansion is completed, the medical center will have 307 beds--up from the current 228--12 operating rooms and additional examination rooms and doctors’ offices.
