Your editorial is a testimony that journalists subscribe to a much higher moral standard than public officials.

Those of us who do not prostitute ourselves for American Israel Public Affairs Committee money recognized from the very beginning that the legislation to close the PLO offices in the U.S. is anti-American. Engineered by AIPAC, this legislation has nothing to do with terrorism. It has to do with our right of free speech. All Americans who hold the First Amendment rights dear must reject this legislation, and join with you in calling on Congress “to move quickly to rescind its ill-advised action.”
