Vietnamese authorities took a visiting U.S. military team to the crash site of an American warplane, shot down in the Indochina War. The Vietnamese also said they are investigating 29 cases in which they have remains, material or information on Americans listed as missing in action in the war, the U.S. delegation said. Hanoi said it will be at least three weeks before any conclusions can be drawn from the 29 cases. The aircraft wreckage was near the Vietnamese port of Haiphong, said Lt. Col. Joe Harvey, delegation leader and head of the Hawaii-based Joint Casualty Resolution Center.
