Easter is a time for feasting, and many restaurants will be preparing traditional Easter food. Unless you’re prepared to wait, reservations should be made in advance. Here are a few restaurants that offer a special Easter brunch next Sunday.

ADRIANO’S RISTORANTE (2930 Beverly Glen Circle, Los Angeles, (213) 475-9807). The meal at this warm and casual little restaurant on top of Beverly Glen Canyon will feature an Italian favorite, Capretto, baby goat roasted with rosemary. Other entrees to choose from include honey glazed ham with yams, cold lobster with caviar, scaloppine al Marsala and chicken cannelloni. In the northern Italian tradition, Colomba, a sweet bread made with orange and lemon peel and baked in the shape of a dove, will also be featured at the brunch. Brunch is served from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Shopping center parking. $12-$25 per person, food only. MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

BERNARD’S (Biltmore Hotel, 506 S. Grand Ave., Los Angeles, (213) 612-1580). Last year’s Easter brunch was so successful that a repeat performance has been ordered. The 1923 silver service, discovered during the renovation of the hotel, is used for this elegant 3-course meal, and there will be harp music and complimentary champagne. Entrees include lobster fettuccine; various fish, lamb and veal dishes; and a variety of omelets. Desserts are offered from a self-service pastry buffet. PAVILION RESTAURANT (Four Seasons Hotel, 690 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach, (714) 760-4920). If it’s posh you want, this is the place for Easter brunch. With details like Doric columns as thick as redwoods, museum-like display cases of Limoges china and a post-modern earth-tone paint job, you’ll wonder what century you’re supposed to be in. There’s no confusion with the food, however: The buffet is a real spread. Feast on caviar, shrimp, oysters, eggs Benedict, leg of lamb, fresh fruits, pates, salads, complimentary champagne and a good selection of excellent desserts. If it’s a really nice day, request a poolside table and don’t be surprised if the Easter Bunny hops over to greet you. Brunch served from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Valet parking. $28 per adult and $14 per child (under 12). All major credit cards.
