Blizzard Hits West Canada

EDMONTON, Canada —
A late winter blizzard paralyzed dozens of cities and towns in western Canada today, closing major highways and stranding more than 1,000 motorists along the Trans-Canada Highway east of Calgary and along Alberta 2 from Calgary to Edmonton.
