Vanunu
Thank you for the excellent article by Dan Fisher on Mordechai Vanunu (Part I, March 25). The virtual blackout of news of his kidnap in Rome and subsequent detention in solitary confinement for disclosing Israel’s nuclear weapons stockpile are disturbing. The decision of Israel to produce nuclear weapons invites Arab states to follow, representing a very dangerous precedent.
