Brown Staying at Kansas U

LAWRENCE, Kan. — Larry Brown, who reportedly was returning to coach at UCLA, said today he will stay at Kansas as basketball coach.
More than 200 students and on-lookers broke into a loud cheer and chanted, “Larry, Larry” when Brown made his announcement on the floor of the Kansas fieldhouse. “I’ve decided to stay at the University of Kansas,” said Brown, whose Jayhawks beat Oklahoma Monday night for the NCAA championship.
