Local News in Brief : Business Conference Set
Representatives of major corporations will meet the owners of small, minority and women-owned businesses at a conference on April 28 sponsored by the City of Inglewood, the Inglewood/Airport Area Chamber of Commerce and the Inglewood Development Corp.
Titled “Providing the Link: Linking Small-Business Resources to Big-Business Opportunities,” the daylong conference will be held at the Airport Park hotel in Inglewood. Procurement agents for a range of businesses including aerospace corporations, utility companies and state and local governments will discuss opportunities for small-business suppliers seeking corporate contracts.
