American Commerce National Bank in Anaheim reported record net income of $403,000 for the first quarter, a 67% increase over $241,000 earned in last year’s first quarter. Quarterly revenue rose 14%, to $2.4 million from $2.1 million. The bank’s assets at the end of March were $77.8 million, a 3% increase over $75.6 million in assets a year earlier. The bank’s total deposits grew 3%, to $71.2 million at the end of the quarter from $69.3 million a year earlier, while total loans rose 19%, to $60.4 million from $50.9 million.
