Weak Storm May Still Bring Rain
Cool temperatures, partly cloudy skies and a 30% chance of showers will continue today as a weak storm staggers through San Diego County.
Rainfall is expected to be under a quarter of an inch, the National Weather Service said.
A chance of thunderstorms also will continue in the mountains and deserts of the county. Brief thundershowers occurred Wednesday in inland areas, including Lakeside, El Cajon and Rancho San Diego. On Palomar Mountain, 0.10 of an inch had fallen by 4 p.m.
The high at Lindbergh Field was 71 degrees Wednesday, 3 degrees above normal for this time of year, forecasters said. Today’s high temperature is expected to be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
A drying and warming trend is expected for the weekend as a high-pressure system rebuilds.
