* 1/2 “Hiding Out.” HBO. $89.99.

High Concept runs amok once again: Bearded young Boston stockbroker Jon Cryer, a government witness on the run from the mob, hides out in a Delaware high school, masquerading as a teen-ager. It may have looked good on paper--a fish-out-of-water suspense thriller mixed with wish-fulfillment teen-sex comedy--but, drowned in illogic and weak jokes, it doesn’t look good on the screen, and that’s despite every effort by the cast and director Bob Giraldi (of the Miller Lite TV commercials).
