Long Beach Arts Groups Invited to Hone Accounting
LONG BEACH — Free accounting assistance is available to members of the Public Corporation for the Arts through its Accounting Assistance Program. The program is designed to help Long Beach arts organizations improve their financial management and reporting. Additionally, the program assists members in resolving current and long-term accounting and bookkeeping difficulties.
Assistance is available in cash management, bookkeeping systems, computerized accounting, asset management, budgeting, payroll taxes, fund accounting, general accounting assistance and information.
The project is funded by the California Arts Council and the California Community Foundation. PCA members interested in using the service may call 499-7777. The program is available for a limited time on a first-come, first-served basis.
