Olympians to Train in San Diego

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Olympic Committee today named San Diego as the fourth training site for the nation’s Olympic athletes.
San Diego, which hopes to begin operations in 1991, joins Lake Placid, N.Y.; Colorado Springs, Colo., and Marquette, Mich., and is the first year-round warm weather training site. The vote by the executive board was unanimous.
