Legal Sex

We had enjoyed “L.A. Law” since it’s beginning. However, it has been deteriorating into a show with more sex than law. After this week’s episode (April 21) we said, “That’s it for us.” Enough is enough.

“Hill Street Blues” was also a good show for some time. It too deteriorated into a show depending upon sex episodes. We feel that “L.A. Law” is following in that same trap--the kiss of death.

Have any of the writers and producers gone back to analyze why the many really good series in the past lasted for many years? Do they think that people today need to see sex everywhere? Sex is great but gets pretty old hat when exploited and seen everywhere. Viewers are not as stupid as they think. Or maybe I’m wrong. . . .
