Hollypark Triple Pays $47,145.60, a State Record
An all-time California record payoff for a $3 daily triple of $47,145.60 was established Friday at Hollywood Park when 14-1 shot Constant Bounty won the fourth race after John Lin, a 49-1 shot, won the second race and Joker’s Jig, who went off at odds of 4-1, won the third race. There were two winning tickets.
The California record was $37,467, established last Sept. 11 in races six through eight at Del Mar.
