Pascal Simon of France broke away from the pack in the final miles of the Chateauroux-Limoges cycle race to score a 32-second victory over Luc Leblanc, also of France.

Jean-Claude Colotti of France was third, leading a pack that finished more than two minutes behind Simon in the 127-mile race through central France.
