Tom Hanks, who romanced a mermaid in “Splash,” took the real-life plunge Saturday night, marrying actress Rita Wilson at a Los Angeles church that will remain nameless, his publicist said Tuesday. No details were available on the couple’s honeymoon destination. The couple met while making the film “Volunteers,” the publicist said. The two will make their home in Los Angeles.
