A 27-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of felony child neglect after her 3-month-old son suffered a fractured skull and brain injuries, El Cajon police said.
Police said the infant was admitted April 22 to Children’s Hospital, where doctors established that his injuries were not accidental.
The ensuing investigation led to the arrest of the infant’s mother, Anne Frances Kindle of the 1000 block of Redwood Avenue, police said. She was booked into the County Jail at Las Colinas.
The infant is still recovering in Children’s Hospital, police said.
