The Raiders will not be playing in an exhibition game in London against the San Francisco 49ers, as reported in Friday’s editions. United Press International erroneously reported that the Raiders would be involved in the July 31 game when, in fact, it will be the Miami Dolphins who will be playing the 49ers.

The first NFL game to be played in continental Europe will match the Chicago Bears against the Minnesota Vikings Aug. 14 at Goteborg, Sweden. CBS will televise the game at 11 a.m., PDT.

Washington, which won the Super Bowl by defeating Denver, 42-10, at San Diego in January, will play at Miami Aug. 13 on ABC, and will meet the Raiders Aug. 20 at the Coliseum on CBS.
