Thousand Oaks 14, El Segundo 12--While the final score indicates a wild game, for five innings play was quite normal as El Segundo led, 3-2, in the ninth-place game at Thousand Oaks.

In the sixth, action accelerated as the Lancers scored 12 runs, then withstood a seven-run seventh-inning rally by El Segundo to earn the victory.

By the time both teams finished rallying, El Segundo had 21 hits and Thousand Oaks had 20.

Steve Sisco hit two home runs to lead the Lancers, setting a school record in the process. The home runs gave Sisco eight this season, breaking the record of seven set by Eddie Hall in 1986.
