A. Keith Plant has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president, corporate development, for Western Digital Corp. Before joining the Irvine-based computer products company, Plant was president and chief executive officer of Speech Plus, which he founded in 1983. He has also held positions with Lifeguard Inc., Iomega Corp., Memorex Corp. and IBM.
