Here’s Yet Another Opinion on Zola Budd

Attaboy, Scott Ostler. He really gave it to that international terrorist, Zola Budd.

Oh sure, there will be some bleeding hearts who will, in their ignorance, say some nasty things about his ignoring relatively harmless activities by countries that will be represented in the Olympics--India, for instance, where the treatment of the “untouchables” results in thousands of deaths daily.

But Zola Budd attended a track meet in South Africa. How can the civilized world condone such behavior?

Scott has shown what he is made of by condemning this barbarism and adding his voice to the other brave men who have forced this 21-year-old threat to drop out of international competition.
