The Jimmy Page solo album, due out next month on Geffen Records, now has a title--”Outrider,” and a probable single, “Wasting My Time”. . . . And we have a title for Tom Petty’s upcoming solo project--”Songs From the Garage.” That’s the record (due in July) that Petty’s been working on with producer Jeff Lynne. . . . To get in shape for his upcoming European and Middle Eastern tour (stops include Athens and Jerusalem), Bryan Adams has been practicing with his hometown soccer club, the Vancouver 86ers. . . . Laura Branigan has been in the studio cutting a track for Eddie Murphy’s upcoming film, “Coming to America”. . . . Deirdre O’Donoughue, hostess of KCRW-FM’s acclaimed “SNAP” music show, hits radio prime time Wednesday night. Her eclectic pop show (weeknights except Tuesdays) moves from its 10 p.m. to midnight slot to a new 8 to 10 p.m. post. . . . And whoops--the new Replacements album will be produced by Tony Berg, not Scott Litt, as we reported last week. Berg is finishing up the new Charlie Sexton album, which he’s co-producing with Bob Clearmountain.
