Local News in Brief : Orange : Chapman to Register Summer School Students
Registration for Chapman College’s second session of summer school is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 12 and 13.
The second session of summer classes will begin July 14 and continue through Aug. 24.
Tony Garcia, director of academic support at the college, said the second summer session will include credential courses, certificate programs and courses for those learning English as a second language.
“Course work is offered in such fields as business, English, communications and social science,” a spokesman for the college said. “The summer program is designed to allow students to begin college early, accelerate their course work or make up deficiencies. Teachers also benefit by using this opportunity to renew their certificates or broaden their general knowledge and skills.”
Registrations for summer classes are being taken at the registrar’s office in Founders Hall on campus, 333 N. Glassell St.
