Local News in Brief : Funmobile to Visit City Parks in Summer
Like a recreation center on wheels, the Huntington Beach Funmobile will offer free crafts, games and activities when it visits 10 city parks this summer before Aug. 19.
Each weekday for three hours, recreational leaders from the Huntington Beach Community Service Department will visit two parks with games and fun geared for children 6 to 12. Younger children may participate if they are accompanied by their parents.
The visits will be canceled if it rains, and there will be no visit today because of the July Fourth holiday. For information on the Funmobile schedule, call Huntington Beach Community Services Department, (714) 536-5486.
