Records obtained by the Champaign-Urbana News-Gazette show that Illinois Athletic Director Neale Stoner and his associates traveled to Hawaii with the school’s basketball team last November, with the university paying much of the tab that exceeded $6,000.

The university has been investigating alleged misconduct by the school’s Athletic Assn., including reports of employees performing personal work for officials.
