Leary, Dodgers Beat Cubs, 1-0

CHICAGO —
Tim Leary pitched seven shutout innings and drove in the only run today to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 1-0 victory over the Chicago Cubs in the first half of a double-header.
Leary, 8-6, allowed seven hits, walked one and struck out six. Alejandro Pena pitched the last two innings, allowing no hits and striking out three, to pick up his seventh save.
