Dukakis Selects Vice President
Dukakis may as well have picked a Republican for a running mate and would have gotten someone less conservative. The Dukakis/Bentsen ticket will probably be known as the odd couple ticket.
I get an eerie sense of deja vu with this duo. Considering Bentsen’s views on Nicaragua, if something were to happen to President Dukakis I feel a disaster may fall upon the people of Nicaragua.
