New allegations may be forthcoming from the National Collegiate Athletic Assn. against the University of Oklahoma football program, the Dallas Morning News reported.

Oklahoma already has received a letter alleging 16 rules violations, but the newspaper said that the NCAA is trying to gather information about car financing and other extra benefits that may have been made available to Sooner players.

Sources told the newspaper that at least one alleged infraction uncovered both at Oklahoma and rival Oklahoma State involves offers of cash or merchandise in 1985 for highly recruited receiver Hart Lee Dykes of Bay City, Tex. Dykes signed with Oklahoma in 1985 and has one year of eligibility remaining.
