Managing and Preserving California Desert Areas
- Share via
Sen. Pete Wilson (R-Calif.) lost my vote when he killed the California desert bill which would have protected our desert for all Californians to enjoy now and in the future (“Desert Bill Dies; Cranston and Wilson Blame Each Other,” Part I, July 8).
Wilson has caved in to the big-money development interests and the off-road terrorists who view the desert only as something to be destroyed in pursuit of a fast buck or a cheap thrill.
How can the politician Wilson expect people to vote for him as an “environmentalist” when he refuses to help protect our state’s environment?
