‘Arms and the Middle East’

It is about time someone realizes some of the effects of our pro-Israel Congress’ blocking of several arm sales to different Arab countries.

The Arab nations of the Middle East have just as much right to build up their defenses as Israel and United States do.

By not selling an arms package to Saudi Arabia or Kuwait, the Saudis and Kuwaitis will just go somewhere else. The thought of one of the Arab countries attacking Israel is ridiculous. Being the biggest recipient of billions of U.S. dollars and military aid, Israel shouldn’t think twice about being attacked.

I believe the U.S. should institute a policy of sending absolutely no aid (financial or military) to any country that doesn’t treat its citizens in a just and fair way. For example, the way Israel treats its Palestinian citizens!
