Citizens Bank of Costa Mesa posted net income of $491,508 for the second quarter, a 55% increase over $317,859 earned in last year’s second quarter. Revenue rose 18% to $3.3 million this year from $2.8 million last year. Net income for the six months was $964,229, a 5% increase over $919,737 earned in the same period last year. Revenue grew 6% to $6.6 million for the six-month period from $6.2 million in the same period last year. The bank’s assets increased 13% to $130.1 million at the end of June from $113.7 million a year earlier. Total deposits rose 15% to $116.8 million at the end of the period from $101.5 million a year earlier, while total loans grew 7% to $81.6 million this year from $76.4 million last year. Citizens Bank is owned by Citizens Holdings, a Newport Beach multibank holding company.
