USC Tours Brazil Without Raveling

The USC men’s basketball team will leave today on a nine-game tour of Brazil without its coach, George Raveling.

Because Raveling is working as an assistant coach for the U.S. Olympic basketball team, his USC assistant, Brian Hammel, will be in charge of the Trojans in South America.

The 11-player team will play nine games in 11 days, including a matchup against Brazil’s national team, the 1987 Pan American Games champion.
