“New England Towns” will be the topic of a lecture and slide show by Richard Logan at the Maps to Anywhere Travel Bookstore, 1514 N. Hillhurst Ave., Hollywood, today at 1:30 p.m. Larry Doffing will give a lecture, Monday at 2 p.m., on “How to Travel Independently and Successfully.” Admission for each event is $5. MGM Grand Air has added a third daily flight to its schedule: a departure at 1 p.m. from LAX to New York, arriving at 3:30 p.m., and a departure from New York to LAX at 11:30 a.m., arriving at 7 p.m.
