A man was arrested Thursday by San Diego deputy marshals in connection with the killing of a man in a hotel last week.
Ed Pearch, age and address unknown, was apprehended at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday in connection the shotgun killing of Victor Beltran Flores. Flores was shot at Lexington Suites Hotel on Aug. 28, said Carlsbad police Detective Richard Castaneda.
Pearch was arrested by police at his mother’s house in Coronado after an investigation by Carlsbad police, Castaneda said.
Pearch is being held at County Jail downtown in lieu of $100,000 bail.
