In response to Hatch’s comments: So what!
It’s also the party of blacks, Hispanics, Asians, poor whites, rich whites. The party of Presidents Franklin Roosevelt and John Kennedy, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Bobby Kennedy; big people, short people. Right-handed people, left-handed people, and yes, people who live in the state of Utah.
