When Tennis’ Oldies Become the Goodies

I’ve heard my fill of ex-tennis stars complaining about Andre Agassi’s behavior. McEnroe whining about Agassi’s lack of respect for opponents and the game of tennis. Jimmy Connors, too?

How soon these guys forget. Weren’t Jimmy and John the inventors of “in-your-face-and-eat-fuzz” tennis? And now we get lamenting about the lack of reverence of our American wonder child? Get me my boots!

Connors and McEnroe, now it’s official. You guys are old!
