Malcolm King led Buena Park (2-1-1) with 171 yards in 14 carries, including a 55--yard touchdown run late in the game.

Savanna is 1-3.

Buena Park’s defense scored its first touchdown with 6:18 remaining in the first quarter when Kim Kieler intercepted a Carlos Robledo pass and returned it 12 yards. The Coyotes had pinned the Rebels on their own 3 after downing a field goal attempt that did not reach the end zone.

Fullback Eli Mosham scored twice in the second quarter on runs of 13 and 10 yards, taking advantage of openings in Savanna’s defensive secondary.

On the first play of the fourth quarter, Buena Park quarterback Matt Acevedo hit Jason Mussachia with a 16--yard touchdown pass. King scored on his long run after Savanna held the ball for more than six minutes before a drive stalled at the Rebel 33.

The Coyotes scored a safety late when the center snap went over the head of Robledo, who was in punt formation, rolled out of the end zone.
