Silverado Woman Killed in Collision

A Silverado woman was killed Saturday morning when her station wagon collided with another vehicle on a two-lane stretch of Santiago Canyon Road near Irvine Lake, California Highway Patrol officers reported.
The woman, 36, whose name was being withheld pending notification of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which happened at 11:06 a.m. just north of Irvine Lake. The driver of the other vehicle involved, Cheryl Thornhill, 34, of Laguna Hills, was treated for minor injuries and released from Saddleback Hospital and Health Center in Laguna Hills.
