Oak Park 15, Fillmore 7--Brian Kane intercepted a tipped pass with 1:42 to play to preserve the unbeaten Eagles’ victory at Fillmore.
Trailing, 7-0, after Fillmore’s Brennon Neff scored on a 3-yard run, Oak Park rallied for 15 fourth-quarter points. With the score tied and 8:50 remaining, Fillmore’s quick-kick attempt from its own 4-yard line was blocked, setting up Gary Silverman’s 1-yard plunge on the next play.
Jason Stein, the Valley’s leading rusher, carried 13 times for 45 yards and a scored on a 2-point conversion attempt after Silverman’s run.
