Parker G. Montgomery, 60, founder and former chairman of Cooper Cos., has announced his resignation as president, chief operating officer and director of the Palo Alto medical equipment and eye-care company. Montgomery has been president and chief operating officer of the company since July 12, when he was terminated as chairman and chief executive, a position he had held since October, 1981.
