Wilson 47, Verdugo Hills 7--Jerry Garcia scored 4 second-half touchdowns for Wilson at Verdugo Hills. Garcia, who had 124 yards in rushing and receiving, caught touchdown passes of 20, 25 and 30 yards and added a 25-yard scoring run.
Wilson quarterback Feliciano Ramirez completed 12 of 19 for 195 yards. He also started the scoring with a 1-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, set up by linebacker Chris Murick’s interception.
Verdugo Hills (3-4, 3-2) scored in the second quarter on a 1-yard run by fullback Paul Koons, who carried 12 times for 36 yards.
Wilson (5-3, 4-1) took a 21-7 halftime lead on a 57-yard run by tailback William Pereira.
